Meet Henry Maxwell
Founder, interventionist & comprehensive recovery navigator.
Families often meet us during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. When the stakes are high and decisions feel overwhelming, leadership, experience, and integrity matter.
Henry Maxwell founded Maxwell Recovery Services to provide families with the kind of thoughtful, ethical, and clinically informed guidance that is often missing in moments of crisis.
A Steady Guide Through Complex Challenges
With over a decade of professional experience in the addiction and mental health recovery field, Henry brings a rare combination of clinical understanding, practical experience, and deep empathy to the families he serves.
After entering his own recovery journey in 2013, Henry committed his career to supporting individuals and families navigating substance use and mental health challenges. His work has spanned a wide range of behavioral health settings, beginning in community-based detox and extending through intervention, recovery coaching, and long-term care coordination.

A Clinically Informed, Family-Centered Approach
Henry’s work is grounded in a clear philosophy: lasting change requires more than crisis response. It requires structure, strategy, and family healing.
Over the years, he observed a consistent pattern: families were often left without guidance after an intervention or treatment placement, unsure how to support recovery or prevent repeated crises. In response, Henry developed a framework for ongoing care management and family support now known as Comprehensive Recovery Navigation™.
This model reflects his belief that:
Recovery is a process, not a single event
Families play a critical role in long-term outcomes
Clear communication and healthy boundary setting
Ethical guidance and coordination reduce emotional and financial harm
Thoughtful planning prevents reactive, crisis-driven decisions
A Personal Commitment to Meaningful Change
Maxwell Recovery Services was founded on the belief that families deserve more than fragmented care and rushed decisions. Henry’s work reflects a long-term commitment to helping individuals engage in recovery and helping families reclaim their lives in the process.
If you are facing uncertainty, crisis, or difficult decisions, Henry and his team are here to help you think clearly, act intentionally, and move forward with confidence.
